Changing time step

Post by sadraddin »

Hello SeismoMatch developer
Can I change time step from 0.01 to 0.02?
My time histories have time stepping 0.02 and I want to remain this time stepping for the matched time histories. Can I do that?
Thanks

Dear sadraddin,

You may change the time-step of the time-history in the "Input File Parameters" module, when loading the accelerogram.

Thanks for your response. I mean I want to remain as dt=0.02 sec but seismomatch gives dt=0.01 sec. So, can I do that? or is there any software doing this?

Thanks z.gronti

Dear Sadraddin,

Open the accelerogram through File > Open Single..., in the "Input File Parameters" module you should set the "Time Step dt" parameter equal to 0.02. If you do so, then the matched accelerogram will be created with a time step equal to 0.02.
