Hi, I want Combination Braces of two materials.have the
consumption of 50 percent of the brace.how model by truss element?

it is very easy. you can take apart your brace to two element with defining nodes. and define two kind of material properties for each element.

tanks. The analysis stops and this message appears "unable to apply"!

Dear bakhtiyar,

You are most likely making some modelling errors that lead to such an analysis outcome.

Search this Forum for the expression 'unable to apply' and you will find plenty of discussion on the matter.

Check your time-history curves -> time-history stage. It is not defined.

Dear salar,its defined with time step 0.005 but "unable to apply"

Bakhtiyar,

There are numerous issues why you cannot apply the full load. As Rui Pinho correctly pointed out, carry out a search in the forum; there are numerous posts on how to fix simlar problems.
