Hi
please help me to creat UNP section for braced frame,it is imposible to use a rhs section for brace element, and in most structures, using UNP section is commonly.

Hi there,

Can you not use an 'agss' section with zero bottom/top flange eccentricities, as noted in the Help System?

it is possible to define 'agss' element only for single section such as 1UNP80,but it can`t be defined as double section such as 2UNP80

If you are using 2UNPs, then we suggest you use either a 'rhs' section or two coincident nodes elements with 'agss' sections.

Sure, we will certainly consider your suggestion, which may facilitate user input.

Note, however, that from a results point of view, nothing will change, since the program (which currently does not model section warping or local buckling) will not really distinguish between the explicit modelling of a double-UNP section and the equivalent procedure described in our previous response.

But, we repeat, it may certainly assist users in defining their models more quickly, hence something worth considering indeed.
