Hello,
I'm trying to model a UHPC jacketted circular section and when defining the section, can insert input values for external diameter, internal diameter and cover thickness. I belive we can define the jacket thickness by the difference between the external diameter and internal diameter. However, I want to know why the cover is outside of the jacekt. It does not make any sense. The sequence should be, concrete core, longitudinal reinforcement, transverse reinforcement, cover, and then the jacket (since there are jackets installed by removal of the cover as well as outside of the cover).
How can I mode a jacket that is situated outside of the cover (without cover replaement)?
Please help with this. Thank you in advance.

Re: Modelling of a UHPC jacketted circular section
The cover of the section is the cover of the jacket. Reinforced concrete jackets always have concrete cover, which is the concrete outside the jacket reinforcement (typically 2-3 cm as is the cover in plain sections).
