Problems with filtering and baseline correction

Post by marcelo.guerra »

Hi, I´m used SESIMOSIGNAL 2021 and I´m trying to correct an accelerogram, filtering and by baseline. Graphically I can see that the process is correct, but when I copy the acceleration data from the corrected accelerogram and reload it, I can see that it is NOT CORRECTED, can you help me to solve this problem?

Hi Marcelo. I also use SeismoSignal 2021. I cannot reproduce the anomaly you describe. I have tried two different ways.

1. I opened the uncorrected accelerogram, baseline corrected and filtered the record, and selected "File", "Save Accelerogram As", and gave the record a new name. After opening the new file, it was indeed corrected.

2. I copied the data from the corrected accelerogram and pasted into a new text file which I saved. I opened this file and it was indeed corrected.

Could be be specific on the procedure you have used?
