Hi wahida.

Yes, you can do it. Here is the method I have used.

One method is to save the matched accelerograms, but there seems to be some bugs there, I have had problems with it. Here is what you can do:

1. Perform the matching
2. Look at the matched accelerogram DATA, not the GRAPH. Note the time step'
3. Select the entire column of acceleration data only from the matched accelerogram data.
4. Right click and choose Copy Selection
5. Open SeismoSignal and in the ecceleration column, right click and choose Paste Selection
6. You will be prompted fro a time step and scale factor. Say OK and from SeismoSignal you can Save Accelerogram As.

I hope this helps. As I say, you can first try Same Matched Accelerograms directly from SeismoMatch and it may work on your system. If not, the above should do the trick.

Hey There! Is it possible to get the acceleration record from the mean matched spectrum? If so, how?

Dear navid,

There is no acceleration record for the mean matched spectrum. The mean matched spectrum is calculated as the mean of the spectra of the matched accelerograms.

What is the use of the mean matched spectrum?

Thanks a bunch, Zoi.

Dear Navid,

As it is written in SeismoMatch's User Manual: "In many cases users will need to comply to matching criteria imposed on the mean of a group of records spectra, rather than on the individual spectrum of each record. This module thus allows users to combine different matched accelerograms (or better, spectra of different matched accelerograms) and check how the mean of the selected matched records spectra compares with the target spectrum within the specified range of periods.".
