modeling of interface

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this finds you in the best of health and spirit. With reference to the reinforced concrete jacketed sections of SeismoStruct 2016 (steel jacketing, concrete jacketing, or FRP jacketing), how the interface between the original element and the new applied jacket is modeled, and if not modeled how would the model predict slip or debonding between the two materials? Also, has the software been validated for the concrete, steel and FRP jacketed elements?

First, note that steel jackets are not supported in SeismoStruct 2016. They will be supported in one of the subsequent releases, probably in v2018.
Secondly, monolithic connection in the sections modelling is assumed between the jacket and the origical element (i.e. a sufficient number of dowels is assumed to exist in the member).
