steel rebar distance in Concrete Cross section

Post by salar »

Dear seismosoft team'
While we click "Edit reinforcement pattern" steel rebar is gotten half in confined area and half in unconfined area
and diameter of stirrup and half longitudinal steel rebar is not included for distance of steel rebar from confine area. It is really important and very effective for getting well accuracy. Please try to fix it.
Please see the image:

and other case is for any output graph data, it is better to show:
1- max value - min value - abs max
2- selecting sections or element output can be sort able by name or number.

Many thanks Salar,

Indeed the location of the rebars will be changed to the suggested locations in the upcoming v7 release (the shift typically will be by 1-2cm (or 3-4% of the section total dimensions).

Regarding your second comment, we kept a note and we will implement it in a future release. However, we will not introduce such feature in the v7 release, since it requires heavy changes in all the post-processor tabs, and we do not consider it a very significant feature (users can easily copy and paste the table data to Excel).

Thank you for your contribution
