Hi, i have frame model that analysis with seismostruct 2016 version but i need to add seismic isolators that model. 2016 version there is no options with bearing elements.
I tried the open model with 2020 version then run analysis but 2020 version give an error
There is difference with hysteretic curves
Version 2016
Version 2020
How can i fix this problem?

Re: SeismoStruct 2016 to 2020
The differences are relatively small and they are probably attributed to a loose convergence criterion (see instabilities in the top of the curve in v2016). With more stringent criteria you will probably get very similar response.

Hi again, actually i want create hysteretic curve so add eartquake aceleration version 2016 and there ise 2016 hysteretic curve
And totaly same model on version 2020, only difference is convergence criteria
convergence analysis detail
Hystereric curve
Am i missing something?

The values of 0.10 for the convergence criteria are extremely loose. You should not set them larger than 1e-4. This is probably causing the disrepancies.

Re: SeismoStruct 2016 to 2020
We cannot know what differences there are between your v2016 and v2020 models. However, we already checked the v2016 model that you sent us, we ran it with v2016 and v2020, and the differences between them were negligible, hence there must be some difference between the models.
