Hi

I am repeatedly getting an error on ‘Stress point error, column was supposed to be assigned as col, but it is col2 ‘. There seems to be an error when I changed the column type of one of my column which is part of a simple portal frame. I wish to adopt a change in the column types as I intend to provide different reinforcements to my columns.

Please advise me on the solution to the error.

Dear roshen.rj,

You should edit the assigned stress points in the Analysis Output tab in order to introduce the stress points of the new section type correctly.
