Time-history Stages Module

Post by TJA »

Hello

I am trying do make an Incremental Dynamic analysis with a time history curve. I've done the analysis with success with one time-history curve and when i change to another curve (i'm also changing the time-history stages) i get this error:

"Errors detected in Time-history Stages Module:

The end of the time-history stages should be within the loading curves range"

In this particular case the time serie goes to 46.400 seconds and has 16000 steps. If i go to and change the file and only use 9300 steps (for example) i get no error and the calculation performs correctly.

Could you please help me solve this problem?...i'm starting to learn how to use SeismoStruct so problablu i'm making some silly error.

Best Regards
Tiago

The error message means that you have defined your time-history stages up to a time To, but the acceleration records that you are applying to the structure do not reach that time To and there is no input to be applied to the model until To.
