Sir, the time history analysis what are the others setting to be checked other than applied load and load phase. In my model the displacement values which i get are very low 0.05 mm.
Sir please help.

relative displacement vs time
I have modelled a shear wall but the residual displacement values are very low.
what could be the reason

We checked the file included in the installation for the example CHAPTER 4 RC 02 and the results are correct.
Have you changed the file? You might need to make a fresh installation of the program, so that you retrieve the original file that is included in the setup.

Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to model an H shape wall on the Seismo Srtuct application?
If it is not, would you kindly recommend something that is applicable for my purpose?
Thank you for your time,I'll look forward to your prompt reply.

Have you tried the rcrws (reinforced concrete rectangular wall section) nasimizadeh. This section permits the user to enter dimensions for the end sections and may suit your needs. You and your supervisor can look over the section capabilities and make a decision as to whether or not it is applicable for the structures you are modeling. Best of luck.

Thank you for your answer huffte.
I've tried the rcrws. Unfortunately, it's not integrated and not working properly.

What do you mean 'the rcrws is not working correctly'?
If you combine 3 or 5 rcrws sections that are connected with rigid links (both the top and bottom nodes of the members), you will get the wall behaviour that you are looking for.
