Dynamic time history analysis

Post by dimitra »

Hi,
I use Seismostruct for first time and i modeled a five storey three dimensional reinforced concrete building with an unerground floor with perimeter walls in foundation. There are permanent loads in frame elements and mass is defined from both frame and loads and loads are not derived from masses. All base nodes are considerded fully restrained against rotation and translation.I try to run dynamic time history analysis and analysis terminated with the following message''Unable to apply the entire permanent load''Any idea???I have run eigenvalue analysis without problems.

I might suggest a forum search on the phrase - unable to apply - dimitra. I think you will find a lot of previous discussion on this issue. Best of luck and I hope you find the answer you need.
