Master model and Sub-Models

Post by humam2104 »

Greetings Seismosoft,

I'm suggesting that you add a master model feature to the program, which means that I can create a model and run multiple times of analyses using one master model so that if I change the master model all the analyses results can be changed accordingly, but the current way of modelling is that I need to change all the models of analyses have to be changed because I have to create a model for pushover analysis, another one for time-history analysis and so on..

I would really like to empathize on the importance of having a master model feature.
The master model would give the user an opportunity to LOCK certain parameters within the model so they can ONLY be changed from the master model.
And changing the master model will change all slave models properly.
This would greatly improve the program, I know that there's an SPF file creator that creates multiple SPF files but getting mixed up with alot of analyses and having to change one parameter causes a real hassle here!
Thanks.
