I would like to know if semi active damper can be modell at seismosoft struct, and if not possible at this time. It will be nice if you add this feature, beside passive viscous linear dampers.

Please administration, answer my question.

Dear crimaval,
Semi-active dampers are not available in Seismostruct. Thank you for your suggestion which we will take into consideration for future versions of the software.
Best regards

Thank you, I am modelling a viscous damper with a link element in a plane frame of reinforced concrete (one floor and one bay). However, the lateral deformation with and without viscous damper is the same. Any idea of what is the possible error?

It is either that you are using a very large stiffness, or that the connectivity of the link element is wrong (the two parts of the structure, up and down, should be connected to the two different structural nodes of the link element).
Also please update the program to the latest release, last year we fixed a bug in the vsc_dmp response curve.
