Chapter 4, Example 2, of the Verification Report should be an excellent guide in modelling shear wall structures. It is found on Page 77 of the Report.

Dear AMRMASOUD,

The inelastic plastic-hinge force-based frame element -infrmFBPH is the default option for walls in SeismoBuild. You may modify the default option through the "Advance Building Modelling" tab, available in the Advanced Settings module. You may also modify the element class of a member from the Modelling Parameters module, available in the member's properties window (visible when you insert or edit a member).
