FRP jacketed reinforced concrete hollow section
FRP jacketed reinforced concrete hollow section
As a result of reduced self-weight and stiffness/mass ratio, hollow concrete columns are desirable over a solid section. Is there a way to model such hollow rectangular sections jacketed with FRP using Seismostruct?

Unfortunately, currently there is no way to automatically calculate the shear and chord rotation strength of hollow sections in SeismoStruct v2020.
One should model the structure with the hollow section without FRP strengthening and make hand calculations for the member strength with FRPs
Seismosoft Support.
