Hello!
I have seismo 2018
How can i put brick masonry in my structure? Are the programm analyze this brick wall like only force or force and finite elements?
Thank you so much!

Re: Brick Masonry
In In SeismoStruct you may use either the masonry (for load bearing masonry) or the infill (for infilled panels) elements.
Unfortunately, these elements are not currently available in SeismoBuild v2020, but they will be included in the next version of the software. In SeismoBuild you could instead use a concrete wall with lower concrete material strength.

Re: Brick Masonry
So, if i use the infill (infilled panels) in seismostruct for masonry wall, will it consider the mass of wall? If this masonry wall have influence on static analyze in structure (not only mass, but like stiffness element)?
Thank you!

Re: Brick Masonry
Yes, both the mass (through the specific mass of the material) and the stiffness are accounted for.
