Dear SEISMOSOFT Team
can i model a progressive collapse of reinforced concrete structures " Remove a columns in nonlinear dynamic behavior " using Seismostruc?
Also,
can i model a blasting load time history using Seismostruc?
thank you

Re: Progressive Collapse and blasting loads
Yes you can model a progressive collapse by using the element deactivate feature in non-linear time-history analysis.
Similarly, you can model a blast loading in non-linear time-history analysis, by applying a time-dependent load for a small amout of time at the beginning.

Dear SeismoSoft support team
I have searched for the element deactivate feature in the software, and I can not find it. Will you please address the location of the related icons within the software.

Re: Progressive Collapse and blasting loads
This can be determined by the activation and deactivation time (or LF) that can be defined for each element separately in the Element Connectivity module.
