Buckling Restrained Brace Modeling

Post by cantonajr »

Hello Sir / Ma'am

My name is Peter Cantona , an undergraduate student from Atma Jaya Yogyakarta - Indonesia
right now i am doing my final project to complete my undergraduate study
i would like to make a seismic retrofitting to an existing building in seismobuild

Can we model the Bucking Restrained Brace in the seismobuild ? will it be the same like using a frame or column and aligned diagonally and we define the elements? i'm sorry due to my lack of knowledge in this program

Thank you very much

Regards

Peter

Dear cantonajr,

Only reinforced concrete sections is currently available within SeismoBuild. Steel sections are available in SeismoStruct. Please note that projects created with SeismoBuild may be also opened with SeismoStruct.
