Vista 64bit

Post by callerio »

I tried to install the new version 3.2(b100) on VistaSP1 64bit but I got a message pop-up at the very beginning stating that "The version of the file is not compatible ... blah blah".
Any workaround? I use plenty of 32bit software with (apparently) no issues.
Thank you in advance.

Hi. Have you tried the workaround described in the discussion 'Problems with Windows Vista', present in this very same folder, and involving “tweaking” of the 'User Account Control' settings?

I'm an administrator on my machine, and the UAC is disabled since I turned on the PC for the first time!
IMO is something related to the installation program used by Seismosignal, probably not compatible with the 64bit version of Vista.

You are right, thank you. We have now packaged SeismoSignal with a new Installer, non longer incompatible with Vista-64bit. We have made this new version available as of today from the Download section of our website.

Thanks again for signalling this problem to us.
