Re: Shear capacity
I mean that the results of Shear Capacity in Post-Processor by Code-Based Checks and Performance criteria checks not the same ( In material properties for characteristic and mean values i used the same numbers and in Safety Factors i used all coefficient = 1) But for Chord rotation Capacity is nearl...

Shear capacity
Hello!!! For calculation of Shear Capacity by Performance i used equation G1 of KAN.EPE After for calculation of Shear Capacity by Code-Based Checks i used Collapse_Prevention. In material properties for characteristic and mean values i used the same numbers and in Safety Factors i used all coeffici...

Re: Coefficient for greek codes
Regarding the mistake, in Help system you write S.8a and S.8b for chord rotation.
You said that coefficient 1.2 is acording to the formulae. How the program understand if the building before 1985 for use this coefficient?

Coefficient for greek codes
Hello! In Seismostruct Help System for Codes>Greek Seismic>Capacity Checks>Deformation Capacity>Beams,Columns i found the next: "For elements with deformed bars designed and constructed according the pre-1985 rules applying in Greece, the values calculated based on equations S.8a and S.8b above...

Difference of results
Hello! After RSA Analysis i take the results. In tab "Action Effects Diagrams" for member B1_1 in the end of beam "end(B)" i have for min -174.41 and -103.57. https://i.imgur.com/JF5MIzj.jpg https://i.imgur.com/nO2L1Um.jpg But when i go to "Element Action Effects" i hve...

Re: Moment force and shear capacity
In the linear analysis the checks need to be done in terms of forces and bending moments. Unfortunately, rhis is not done automatically in SeismoStruct v2020. Hence, hand calculations are needed. Seismosoft Support I can not find " linear analysis the checks need to be done in terms of forces ...

Moment force and shear capacity
Hello!
I use Response Spectrum Analysis in the Seismostruct. I found all combinations of forces, moment forces and shear. After i need to compare the forces from RSA(Analysis) with the resistance of beam and columns.
Is it possible to find resistances of all elementsin program? And how?
Thank you!!!

Stiffness matrix
Hello! By EN-8 for stiffness matrix we mast to use one-half of the corresponding stiffness of the uncracked elements. In the Help System i found: Sections -> "The EA, EI & GJ values shown in this module are merely indicative (i.e not used in the analysis) and calculated using the elastic ma...
