Re: Seismomatch- Matching of Time History
Hi Sir, We tried to download the RSN243 from NGAWest, the Time History is complete as displayed, however, when we try to download it shortens to 8 secs (see attached images). Are there any ways to completely download the file? Any comment is highly appreciated. Thank you. https://i.imgur.com/lsGje2v...

Re: Time History Error
Hi seismosoft,
May I ask what are the possible causes of the error as shown below. Your comments are highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Re: Consideration of Rigid Ends of Structural Members
We modeled a structure using the building modeller of Seismostruct. May we know the effect of considering rigid ends of beams, columns and walls in the analysis as shown below. Your comments are highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Seismomatch- Matching of Time History
Good day! I tried matching a particular time history curve for dynamic time history analysis using Seismomatch. The result of the matched curve was not what I desired. Do you have any guidelines in matching time history curves? Please see attached picture. Any comments and recommendations are highly...

SEISMOBATCH Extraction of Results
Hi Seismosoft,
We used the seismobatch command on seismostruct to run 7 pairs of Time History Load, we were able to run the analysis however when we tried to extract the results it says "ITEM NOT FOUND". May we ask for your assistance? Any comment will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: Limitation of Number of Structural Members
Should we delete the intermediate beams and convert them to additional permanent loads? We've already sent the file. Any comments will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Link gap-hook definition
Yes, I did create 3 nodes, NODE J and NODE J* for the gap-hook link and then I will define a rigid link for NODE 2 and NODE J*. However, I can't define a link for J and J* as it keeps on saying that they should be coincidental. I don't know what seems to be the problem since both nodes have the same...

Limitation of Number of Structural Members
I tried modelling a 20 storey building using SeismoStruct. It was not able to run because there is a warning that says there is a limit for the number of sections. I checked the number of sections and it will not exceed 10000 sections. What does the number of sections mean? May we know what we can d...

Re: Link gap-hook definition
I created a 16mm gap between the upper beam to wall and another gap for column to wall. I was able to define a link (gap-hook) for coincidental nodes N and N*, M and M*, I and I*. However, when I am defining the link for J and J* it keeps on saying that nodes 1 & 2 should coincide initially as d...
