Re: Regarding Seismic weight of whole structure

Ok. But please help with my problem. but I want to know that, the post-processor result shows -global response parameter- hysteretic curve- Refresh button gives some weight value. what is this value?? please explain. please see the left bottom corner.

Re: Regarding Seismic weight of whole structure

Dear Zoi,
I want to calculate total seismic weight of structure considering all structural members?? How can I get in seismostruct software?? or shall I need to calculate manually??
Please explain...

Re: Regarding Seismic weight of whole structure

Dear Zoi,
This is ok, I agree, but I want to know post-processor-global response parameter- hysteretic curve- Refresh button gives some weight value. This is self weight of structure right?? I am asking in that slab is considered or not??

Regarding Seismic weight of whole structure

Dear all, I have doubt regarding the seismic weight of the structure, including slab, beam, column, and infill. I am looking seismic weight in post-processor option, in that global response parameter- hysteretic curve- Refresh button. Actually I have modeled my building through the building modeler ...

Re: Regarding capacity of infill

Dear sir/ mam, In the seismostruct software when we are defined fm value in strut parameter. So is this fm value is diagonal capacity of strut (Fm theta) or compressive strength of masonry(fm)?? Little bit confusing term is there.. because compressive strength of masonry from prism test is different...

Re: Reference for hazard level multipliers

Ok thank you. Shall I use the default values for my work (1.2, 1, 0.8 & 0.6)??? or should I use another?? I have read ASCE 41-17 but there is no provision regarding these multipliers.. so please tell me your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Re: Reference for hazard level multipliers

In the target displacement module when Asce 41-17 is selected, and under seismic action tab in the other spectral shape when IS 1893: Part 1:2016 Indian Code is selected , a window appears for hazard level multiplier. Shall I get please the reference section for these default values?? Aslo, Shall I ...

Re: Regarding Infill

I have gone through the manual. Thabk you for your response. Actually, I want to show the damage of infill on pushover curve. So how I can proceed it??? Should I consider A1 OR A2 while calculating the capacity of strut ??? Please explain. Also you suggested "stress from the inf_strut response ...
