truss/SMA modelling

Hi, in my thesis work I am trying to apply SMA devices in each node of only one side of the structure and then i have to study how the response varies. I'm trying to insert truss elements into each node and hinging to the other end. After defining "material", "section" and "...

Stairs

hello,

I'm trying to model a stairs but when I run the eigenvalue analysis in Seismostruct, the stairs is as if it were not connected.
How can I solve it??

Thanks

Re:

Dear Seismosoft, I have the same problem. When i run "static analysis(non-variable load)" and then I open "Action effects diagrams" in the post-processor, I have the program message "Range check error" I have already try to follow the solution A but i have the same mess...

Re: stress-strain hysteresis loops

Hi, I have the same problem.
In "analysis output" when i added the stress point i have a sismostruct message: "unidentified section type"
How can i solve it?
I need extract stress/strain hysteresis loops of superelastic SMA
