Dear pcandeias, This is a general rule that has been applied, that the modulus of elasticity is equal to 1000 times the compressive strength. The equations and methodologies defined in EC8-Part 3 are applied in SeismoStruct.

I didn't find anything in EC8-Part 3 about using the equation 6.2a of EC2 in shear capacity calculations. Only in the av of the equations of θy. Have you found anything relative in EC8-Part3?
