Re: Masonry wall without rienforcement
Dear Mebarek,
The longitudinal and transverse steel materials need to be assigned. However, you may assign zero longitudinal rebars, as it is the default option.

Re: Brick Masonry
Dear waltergarcia, It is not possible to assign windows and doors to a masonry element. According to SeismoStruct User Manual: Two nodes need to be defined for these element types, representing the end-nodes of the element, thus defining its length, position in space and direction (local axis 1). A ...

Dear julia.kohns@kit.edu,
You should run an Eigenvalue analysis in order to be able to view the requested output in the Post-Processor

Dear Vyshnavi,
Perhaps you could send me specific information about the different results you get at z.gronti@seismosoft.com. Please make sure that you use the current version of the program, which is SeismoStruct v2023-Release 1-Build 120.

Re: Step output / Nodal displacements
Dear julia.kohns@kit.edu,
You should go to the Post-Processor, i.e. select the "Show Results" button, when you are in the Eigenvalue Analysis Step. In this way, you will be able to view the results of the Eigenvalue analysis.

Dear WillSmith,
You may export it from the Post-Processor>Global Response Parameters> Structural Displacements. You should select the proper nodes and the “values” radio button, so that you will be able to copy the results and paste in to the Excel.

Re: Problems in simulating cyclic behaviour of RC shear wall with wall shoes connector
Dear afcf,
Structural failure might occur to the wall element. You should probably check the stresses and strains you get in the reinforcement and concrete.
