Re: Base Shear (Fb) for Linear Static Analysis (Equivalent Lateral Force Method))

Dear Alexandros Korovesis,

Have you checked Post-Processor> Global Response Prameters> Forces and Moments at Supports?

You may also refer to the program’s Help System and User Manual for further guidance.

Re: Bending Moment Capacity

Dear fsapostolou,

as it is written in SeismoBuild's Help System (https://help.seismosoft.com/seismobuild/2025/en/codes/eurocodes/capacity_models_for_assessment_and_checks/bending_moment_capacity.htm)
The bending moment capacity of beams, columns and walls with prismatic cross section is calculated ...

Re: Cracked/Uncracked stiffness for Pushover

Dear apostolisandreou,

Uncracked stiffness is used in Pushover analysis. Please refer to Section 4.4.1.4 of KANEPE for example, which states that cracked sections are to be used in elastic types of analysis.

Re: Element ductility class determination in the output

Dear dfd,

m-factors are displayed in technical report’s tables. Bending moment is considered as ductile mechanism, while shear is considered as brittle one.

Re: Incremental Dynamic Analysis (PGA vs Drift)

Dear JRCM,

The requested plot is not automatically created in SeismoStruct. You may take the drift values from SeismoStruct and create the diagram in a spreadsheet application.
