Hello, I start using the software Seismobuild recently and i have a question.
Afther i have performed the pushover analysis and checked the result about the Target displacement, i can not understand the whole information presented for the Initial Linearization Data, specifically i would like to know what does the term "a" mean, and the "unbalanced Area Error (%)"
Initial Linearization Data
Re: Initial Linearization Data
Dear vasquezscr ,
The "a" is the stiffness ratio of second to first branch.
The initial stiffness of the idealized system is determined in such a way that the areas under the actual and the idealized force – deformation curves are equal (EC8 part-1). The "unbalanced Area Error (%)" is the difference between the 2 areas.
