Hello,
I have a suggestion for seismostruct, probably I am not the first one suggesting this.
It would be great to have the option of knowing automatically the centre of mass and stiffness. It would take less time reinforcing non regular buildings and since every EC8 combination must be run separately we would be capable of understanding better if our reinforcement would work to every combination (X and Y).
Best regards,
Pedro Silva

Re: Centre of Stiffness and Centre of Mass
Hello Pedro,
SeismoStruct is more general than SeismoBuild. Although it is possible to calculate in SeismoStruct and export the centre of mass of the structure, this is not possible for the centre of stiffness, which should always refer to a particular level of a building. Yet SeismoStruct is more general and can have inclined members or members that connect two different floors, hence it is not always possible to calculate the centre of stiffness.

Dear Seismosoft,
We can just know the centre of Mass in the last floor (or the one below the last one) in the Analysis Output tab, correct?

No, this is not automatically calculated.
