Dears at Seismosoft ,

I am trying to perform Dynamic Time History analysis for a multi-story building with RC Shear walls .
At some point the analysis terminates and it gave me a message says " unable to apply next load step. Analysis terminated "

What could be the problem and how could i overcome it ?

This is a typical problem of convergence difficulties. You may search this forum for 'convergence problems' and you will find numerous posts with answers on how to overcome the problems. Further, since the problems occur at the initial step, where the gravity loads are applied, check that the gravity loads are not excessive and that your members have adequate reinforcement to sustain them.
