Dear,
I see that in the 'Code Based Checks History', the joint shear checks are not provided. When do you envisage including them as well?

Re: Shear Capacity Checks
The 'Code Based Checks History' provides information at every step of the analysis for the code-based checks that can be calculated 'in real-time'. The beam-column joint checks require data that can only be accessed after the end of the analysis, thus such checks are only provided at the Checks tab.
Thus, the joint shear checks will not be included in the 'Code Based Checks History', because this is not possible.

Re: Shear Capacity Checks
Would you be so kind as to reveal which data from the end of the analyses are needed for the joint capacity check? I am speaking for the NTC-18 joint checks.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Shear Capacity Checks
SeismoBuild employs the SeismoStruct engine for the internal calculations of the linear and the nonlinear analyses. Since in SeismoStruct the structure of the programs is free, it is not possible to define internally the concept of the beam-column joint, i.e., it is not possible to categorize in advance each member as to be a beam or a column. Thus, it is not possible to provide all the information required of the calculations (e.g., geometry, reinforcement), and output the checks at every step.

Re: Shear Capacity Checks
Why the shear capacity of a wall is different by different load pattern in pushover (Modal X+ vs Uniform X)?
Re: Shear Capacity Checks
Dear fsapostolou,
The member's forces affect the shear capacity of a wall member, as you may see in the equation used for the calculation of the shear capacity, available in SeismoBuild's Help System and User Manual. Different analysis result in different member forces, hence result in different shear capacity.
