Can I obtain accelration time histry from velocity time hist

Post by erkala »

I have row vibration data, measured in the form of velocity time history (single column text fıle). I would like to obtain acceleration time history from this velocity time history.
1) Can I do that using seismo-signal software program?
2) If yes, how can I do this operation ?

SeismoSignal accepts only acceleration histories as input. So I do not believe your calculation is possible with SeismoSignal. The numerical differentiation required to obtain the acceleration history should be rather straightforward in Excel, MATLB, or other similar mathematical software. To check your results form Excel, you could enter the resulting acceleration history and see if you get the velocity back out correctly. Best of luck, erkala.
