Looking for an old version

Post by leonardoelia9 »

Hi,
I'm using the last release of SeismoStruct and I'm having problem with a simple eigenvalue analysis. So I searched on the wbsite for an old version of the program, because I think more stable. I didn't find it, do you where I have to look for or whom should I ask? I have an academic license.
Thank you for your help

Whih versions (stable and not stable) are you using leonardoelia9?
Considering that several enhancements and bug fixes have taken place in recent releases, it is not reasonable that older versions are more stable.
Note that with small models, it is advisable to use the Ritz+Jacobi, rather than the default Lanczos eigensolver.
Can you please send us the file so that we check things ourselves?

I'm using the 2016 version release 4. The problem was just the eigensolver, as you said. I chose the Ritz Jacobi one and the easy model that I made run correctly. Thank you for your help.
