load factor coefficient in pushover analysis

Post by Ahil_Anand »

Dear Seismosoft,
I have 30 RC beams which have same condition for loading in push over analysis:
Target displacement=50 cm
Steps=1000
First load= 1 mm as vertical load on the middle span.
I ran all models by seismo batch. In my results, the load factor in 25 beams is 0.5, but in other models, the program used a load factor equal to 1.1116 . I don't know what is the problem. I also delete the loading conditions and define them again, but the load factor did not change. I define the loading conditions by both two tabs which are for pushover analysis.

It seems that you have applied force loads, but you have response control in your pushover analyses. In response control the load factors are automatically calculated by the programs, based on the target displacement steps.Refer to the program's help and manual for further details.
