please say me how calculate equivalent lumped mass to use lumped mass instead of distributed load in ida analysis . if q is weight/lenght and L is length of beam so lumped mass is?
problem is that if ida starts from a pervious gravity load so using lumped mass may introduce some deviation into analysis.

Re: lumped mass
- if we understood your question right, you are asking how to compute mass from weight, right? If this is indeed the case, the answer is obviously that mass is equal to weight divided by the acceleration of gravity
- we cannot quite follow your comment on "deviation into analysis", but there is no need for you to clarify it; we suggest you to simply study the Help System (and cited scientific publications) before continuing to build models and run analyses
