Re: energy dissipation
Hi nikhilnbr,
Have you not tried to carry out a search in this Forum on the expression "energy" or "energy dissipation"?
If you do, you will find tens of past posts and discussions on this matter.
Please do always search the Forum before opening up a new discussion thread.
Thank you,
Rui

Re: energy dissipation
nikhilnbr, hi again.
It really is impossible for you not find information on the computation of dissipated energy in this Forum; you have used the 'Search' facility (http://www.seismosoft.com/forum/search.asp), right?
Anyway, I carried out a search on your behalf, using the expression "energy dissipation", and found the two following relevant past posts:
- http://www.seismosoft.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1165
