what is the meaning of tonne in mass part?

Post by kargar »

when we want to define mass we should use it in tonne unit.what is the amount of one tonne?does it mean 1000 kg?and how can we define distributed load over a beam instead of joint loads?is it possible?

- if you type "tonne" in Google, you will immediately realise that it does mean 1000 kg. If you change the units from 'tonnes' to 'kg', you will arrive at the same conclusion.

- as described in the Help System, if you wish to model distributed loading, you may assign mass to a section and then activate the mass-to-gravityload option.
