Hello sm3082,
Indeed there is a problem in the el_mat material model and the stress point values are not exported correctly. We will fix this in the next release of the program. Many thanks for reporting this.

Re: Cracked/Uncracked stiffness in RSA
This is implied from the calculations to estimate the target displacement, whereby the period from the eigenvalue analysis is employed to calculate the effective period Teff.

Re: Code-based Spectra for ASCE 41-17
Hello, Kirkaguel and fernnie_gae, We updated today the SeismoBuild release that is currently available. In the new release (v2024 Release-1, build-5) the labels of the textboxes have been changes to Ss and S1 and now it is clear that Fa and Fv are then applied to these values. Apologies for the time...

Re: Higher Mode Effect
1) In order to increase the number of exported eigen-modes with the Lanczos method, you need to increase the number of iterations of the eigen-solver. 2) If you increase the number of modes, you will probably get the rest of the rotational mass. Note that if you have a basement the basement masses a...

Unfortunately, this check is not included in the current version of SeimoBuild. We will keep a note for the development of a similar feature in a future release of the software.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. However, you can copy and paste the data to Excel and make the calculations there .

Re: Maximum modes
If you using the Lanczos algorithm, try the more stable Jacobi with Ritz transformation algorithm. Note that if you have a basement the basement masses are extremely difficult to get activated, due to the lateral supports.
