Well, in reality it has always been possible to carry out cyclic pushover analyses in SeismoStruct, by defining appropriate Loading Phases parameters, or by running a Static time-history analysis.

Re: Second order effects
<t>There is no need for such an activation option since Geometric Nonlinearity is an intrinsic part of the formulation of all SeismoStruct elements and analysis types (with the obvious exception of Eigenvalue analysis). Hence, second order effects are always fully accounted for. <br/> <br/> SeismoSo...

Re: Selecting large numbers of nodes/elements
<t>Yes, of course. The possibility of defining Groups of nodes and elements to facilitate their individuation and selection in many Pre- and Post-Processing operations has been present in SeismoStruct right from its inception, and users are indeed strongly encouraged to take advantage of such facili...

Re: Maximum number of nodes/elements
Yes, an upper bound value of 9999 is set as the maximum number of nodes or elements that can be defined in a SeismoStruct model.

Re: Technical guidance
<t>All SeismoSoft applications feature a thorough Help System, automatically installed with the programs, where detailed background information and technical guidance can be found. In particular, it is noted that the Help System is full of very useful hints&tips (see 'Notes' at the bottom of man...

Re: Example models
You can create your own SeismoStruct example models by running the program's Wizard facility, which will, in this way, get you started in not more than half a minute.

Re: Same model leads to different results
On very rare occasions, bug fixes had to be introduced in the solver of SeismoStruct, and this might cause the differences that you are experiencing. Please refer to the 'History of Development' for further clues.

Re: Problems with older models
<t>Make sure that you are not introducing the mass twice, by defining mass elements and, at the same time, activating the self-weight option of SeismoStruct. Please make also sure that you are using the correct convergence criteria settings (use the Load Defaults option).<br/> <br/> SeismoSoft Suppo...

Re: Error when opening file
You are most certainly trying to open a project file that has been created in a more recent version of SeismoStruct. Please visit SeismoSoft website (www.seismosoft.com) and download the latest release of the program.

Re: Error with program images
<t>These problems usually occur when a newer version of SeismoStruct has been installed without first uninstalling existing older versions of the program. To solve this problem, you must first uninstall SeismoStruct (using the Add/Remove Programs facility in Windows Control Panel), then manually del...
