Modelling Stone Masonry Walls in Seismostrt
Good evening. I am interested in building a SeismoStruct model of stone masonry walls based on my experimental work at undergraduate level. Does the current version have the capability of building of modelling stone masonry walls? Moreover, can the software be used to model infill element (stone or ...

Performance criteria capability
Good morning, I am Interesting in finding out the stages at which hinging at beam ends and column hinging at top and bottom occurs under IDA. For which I have set reinforcement yielding as limit in performance criteria. In Analysis output I can see the stages at which a particular performance criter...

Re: Shear Strain/ Deformation
Thank You for you prompt response.
Let me rephrase. If I have introduced a rotational spring at the beam column joint panel based on a particular constitutive law ( moment-ration), how do I check rotation of the spring achieved at a particular stage.
Best Regards.

Shear Strain/ Deformation
For a Two story from run under IDA how does one check the shear deformation/ Distortion produced at a particular joint. I am interested in the particular result because I want to compare the analytical and experimental local mechanism.

Local Mechanism Comparison
Good evening. I am working on numerical modelling of RC-SMRF two story frame. I have already drawn the capacity curve using IDA now It is required of me to compare the local mechanism of the numerical model with the test frame. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Thank You ...

Re: Error while running other time history curves
Hi,
My time-history curve shows error while loading
" Only one column could be read in row 4900. the accelerogram could not be read". Could something be wrong with the input file or can it be fixed?

Fy in Bilinear Takeda Model
Hello, I am a little confused with Fy parameter in Bi linear Takeda model. I am using it in rotational spring installed at a beam column joint panel to account for the bar slip effect. My supervisor suggests that My obtained from beam analysis should be used in determining Fy, and Fy=0.5*My. I have ...
