Re: Next versions
For different reinforcement in complex and very big models, I usualy use equivalent area in building modeler, because it's take a big time to edit sections in seismostruct by additional reinforcement. However, the ability for different arrangment is only a suggestion for seismosoft. The weight of co...

Re: Next versions
If we want to have for example 2Fi24+1Fi16 for top of the RC section, we can't define it by seismo-building modeller. Also, I can't define Special weight of concrete by seismo-building modeler. I know that the defined value by software is 24 KN/m3, but when I want to create a slab based on concrete ...

Hi seismosoft. As a sismostruct user, I would like to propose some abilities for next release of the seismostruct: - "copy" and "paste" options in "additional reinforcement" section - Extract the forces and moments of nodes - The load combination for seismic masses and ...

Re: Big slope in linear part for force-displacement curve
I create the model again by seismostruct v.7.0.6. All of defined properties were the same with that model which was created by seismostruct 2016. The results of these two version were very different. Also, they didn't match with the experimental again. I sent these two files and also their results t...

Re: Big slope in linear part for force-displacement curve
Infact, this poibt (1350 KN, 6 mm) should be 1200 KN and 10 mm based on experimental results.

Big slope in linear part for force-displacement curve
I want to verify a reinforced concrete beam. The experimental beam created in half scale in laboratory (span=1.5m ,Width=350 mm, height=450 mm). This beam pushed in a mid-span in vertical direction until failure. The results of the experimental were: the final displacement=24mm, the maximum load (pu...

Re: confinement coefficient
I sent to you the seismostruct file. Please check the calculation confinement tab and also the reinforcement details. The calculation value for area reinforcement should be 7442.32 mm2 but in the program it was calculated equal to 654389.6784192 mm2. It is wrong. I also see that the "section di...

Re: confinement coefficient
Dear Gronti,
Yes, everything about the assinged reinforcement was correct and also, I use the latest version. I will send you the model as soon as possible. I am in a conference right now.
Please mention that there is no mistake in the section modul. I check it in many times.

I have a RC beam with 14 Fi 32 at bottom and 4 Fi 14 at the top of the section. The dimention of the beam is 1105 x 600 mm. In the section modul, confinement factor which is calculated by seismostruct was 3.792. When I see the detailes of this calculation in the "confinement factor calculation&...

Re: verification a RC beam
Thank you so much for your help. Red line is for experimenta results, blue is for seismostruct. InfrmFB was used for my member. As mentioned in your post, I should define a shear criteria with residual stiffeness? Could you please give me for details because I have this problem with my column too an...
