Re: plastic hinge and FRP
Thanks for responding dear zoi,if you didn't mind can you tell me how calculate the intial stiffness and post-peak stiffness for frp bars or give me a suggestion about paper or book to calculate the intial stiffness and post-peak stiffness by equation?

dear zoi
i go to your recommended subject ,it related with FRP sheets , and my model reinforced with FRP bars , i want to KNOW if i am thinking right or not if replaced steel bar with FRP bars , the connection type of colomn -beam remain as it or what?

plastic hinge and FRP
hi, again i have a question confused me about the connection between column and beams in case i reinforced it with FRP , i think that( infrmFPH ) will not be correct if used it , because the plastic hinge formed after the steel bar reached the yielding, so in case FRP there is no yield that mean the...

Re: PUSHOVER ANALYSIS
Dear Seismosoft Thank you for that valuable informations But i have some questions 1 -if i use con_tl ( scott model) on what basis; i took the values of intial stiffness and post-peak stiffness 2- how can i define the yield strength of stirrups،because i notice that program took the yield strength o...

Re: PUSHOVER ANALYSIS
part2...... 3- the material type i used in model depend on mander et al 1988 model , so in that case it is supposed to be a residual strength, is that correct? 4-i am using infrmFBH ,as you know , the two integration section ( section a &b)that shown at stress & strain output is indication f...

dear huff thank you for encouragement the attached pic ,showed what I meant for beams https://www.dropbox.com/s/05zh96qv91jfpyj/intersection%20of%20beams.PNG?dl=0 i have some questions, and i hope you have leniency with my frequently asked questions 1- for performance criteria if i run my model with...
